Navel of the Sun - Belly Oil for Comfort & Flow
Navel of the Sun Belly Oil
The belly holds more than digestion.
Folk tradition has known this for generations — herbalists doing abdominal massage long before anyone had a word for the gut-brain connection, and the vagus nerve running its longest stretch straight through the belly like it's been trying to tell us something the whole time.
Wild bergamot brings warmth and eases cramping, along with a genuine lift in mood — it's a plant that works on the gut and the spirit at the same time, which folk herbalism never saw as two separate jobs. Lavender relaxes smooth muscle and calms what's wound too tight underneath it. Spearmint stimulates digestion and eases bloating with a cooling clarity, gentler on sensitive stomachs than its sharper cousin peppermint. Ginger is the oldest ally the gut has — warming, carminative, reliable across nearly every herbal tradition that's ever touched it.
Carried in sunflower oil, light enough to absorb fully into skin that's already asking for relief.
How to use: Warm a few drops in your palms. Massage into the belly in a clockwise direction — the direction of digestion. Use before meals for sluggish digestion, during menstruation for cramping, or anytime the gut needs settling.
Ingredients: Wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), spearmint (Mentha spicata), ginger (Zingiber officinale), sunflower oil.
Cautions: External use only. Not for use during pregnancy without practitioner guidance. Patch test for sensitivity.
