Soft Warren Silk Baby Powder
Soft Warren Baby Powder
For the dampest corners, kept dry without the talc.
White clay draws moisture the way clay's always done — pulling damp out of skin without stripping it, the same principle behind every poultice that ever worked. Arrowroot gives it that fine, silky glide, the thing that makes a powder feel like a powder instead of grit.
Slippery elm earns its name honestly — the inner bark turns to slip and mucilage the second it meets moisture, which is exactly what you want sitting against skin that's been damp too long. Comfrey root joins it, the same knitbone tradition doing quieter work here — soothing instead of mending, but the same plant, the same trust.
No talc. No fragrance fighting for space in a small room. Just something dry, fine, and unbothered doing its one job well.
Ingredients: White clay, arrowroot powder, slippery elm powder (Ulmus rubra), comfrey root powder (Symphytum officinale).
Pairs with: Kit's Coat Salve — salve on the dry spots first, then a light dusting of Soft Warren over everything for the rest of the day.
Directions: Shake a small amount into your hand, away from the face, and pat gently onto clean, dry skin. Reapply after bathing or diaper changes as needed.
Cautions: External use only. Avoid inhalation — apply away from baby's face. Do not use on deeply broken or infected skin.
