Wombfire - Herbal Womb Massage Oil
Wombfire Massage Oil
An oil for the ache that has no name yet.
Mugwort grows wild along our fence line, silver-backed and stubborn — the kind of plant old wives trusted to loosen what needed loosening. Dreams. Blood. Grief that settled into the hips and never left. We grow it here at Elder Creek Farm and cut it near the full moon, when the old timers said its power sat closest to the surface.
Wormwood joins it — bitter by design, a plant that has never once tried to be pleasant. It doesn't soothe so much as it tells the truth and steps back.
Yarrow closes things the way it closes wounds: fast, clean, no wasted motion.
Steeped slow in sunflower and castor oil until the color turns the deep green-black of creek water in shadow. This isn't a bath product. It's a working oil — for the hand, the hip, the low belly, the nights your body is doing something it won't explain to you.
Directions: Warm a small amount between your palms. Massage into the lower abdomen — slow, circular, following your own rhythm, not the clock's. Use during the luteal phase, before your cycle, or any night the ache in your center wants tending. Pairs well with a castor oil pack.
Cautions: Not for use during pregnancy. Patch test before first use. External use only.
