Achoo Renew Herbal Extract
Achoo Renew Extract
Seasonal sniffles have a long folk record. So do the plants that answer them.
This glycerite is alcohol-free, gentle enough for sensitive systems, built from six plants with a long tradition of supporting the respiratory passages through a hard season. Nettle anchors it — one of the most trusted allergy allies in the folk record, nourishing and traditionally used to calm the body's overreaction to whatever's blooming outside.
Goldenrod joins it, traditionally used for congestion and inflammation, and chronically blamed for the sneezing that ragweed actually causes — goldenrod's pollen is heavy and insect-carried, not windborne, so it was never the real culprit. Rosehips bring vitamin C and a mild, pleasant edge to the blend. Beggar's tick is a quieter respiratory relaxant, pulled from Ohio River Valley tradition rather than the more famous herbs. Horseradish opens congested passages like little else will, and marshmallow leaf closes it out, soothing and coating irritated membranes on the way down.
How to use: 1–2 teaspoons every 2–3 hours, straight or in water or tea. Start before the season peaks if you can.
Ingredients: Nettle (Urtica dioica), goldenrod (Solidago spp.), rosehips (Rosa canina), beggar's tick (Bidens spp.), horseradish (Armoracia rusticana), marshmallow leaf (Althaea officinalis).
Cautions: Contains goldenrod, related to the Asteraceae (daisy) family — those with ragweed or daisy-family sensitivities should use with caution. Consult your healthcare provider if pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.
