Dandelion's the plant nobody plants on purpose — the "nuisance" weed that shows up in every lawn and gets pulled before anyone stops to consider what it's actually good for. We forage the leaves and infuse them slow in olive oil, then thicken it with shea butter and beeswax until it turns soft enough to melt straight into skin.

Folk tradition has long used dandelion for soreness, for skin gone dry and cracked from too many hours outside, for the kind of joint ache that comes from overuse, overwork, or just carrying too much for too long. Working hands know this ache. So do aching knees, and the kind of tired that isn't only physical.

The name comes from kintsugi, the old Japanese practice of mending broken pottery with gold instead of hiding the break. This salve works from the same idea: the crack isn't the failure. What grows back into it is.

How to use: Massage gently into sore spots, dry patches, cracked cuticles, or tired feet — anywhere that's asking for a little care.

Ingredients: Dandelion leaf (Taraxacum officinale), olive oil, shea butter, beeswax.
